Unlike alcohol, marijuana has no calories and therefore could be a much better alternative as a drug of choice for competitive athletes and Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders who need to watch their waistlines.

It could be a key export item for Central American nations, thus promoting cross-cultural understanding (which the drug itself, if used frequently, could support).

Marijuana use has not resulted in any fatal overdoes, accoriding to a 1995 report by the World Health Organization. The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws lists various illnesses for which marijuana is beneficial, including Alzheimer's Disease. Clinical investigation is more available now of the advantages.
